One of the fastest growing markets on the internet is the sale of ebooks.
People are always searching for information and many time they are willing to purchase that information in the form of an electronic book or eBook. The benefits of an eBook are that it can be instantly downloaded and you can read it directly from your computer or print it out.
To make money selling eBooks, simply write a book that you have an expertise in and sell it on your personal website, eBay, or let others sell it for you. However, what if you don’t want to take the time to actually write a book? Well, that’s where the power of Private Label Rights books come into play.
A private label rights (plr)book essentially give the purchaser of the book the ability to actually resell it as their own. That’s right! You can take a book that someone else has written and claim it as your own, and charge whatever price you want. You can certainly see the potential here because there are thousands of private label rights eBooks available!
Now before you go out and start buying every PLR eBook that you can find, think about your competition. If anyone can buy a book and resell it, wouldn’t there be alot of competition? Absolutely. So, the key to success when dealing with PLR books is to find books that not everyone is selling. This is truly a challenge. As you can see, everyone wants books but no one wants to write them. So everyone ends up selling the same stuff.
However, if you can strategically place yourself to be different from your competition, you might be able to generate some income doing this home-based business opportunity. How can you be different? Well, try packaging your product differently. Try adding some bonus products. Try creating your own product to go along with the PLR book. There are potentially hundreds of different ways that you could present a PLR book to a customer.
So be careful. Don’t expect to just list a PLR ebook in the exact same way that everyone else is doing on eBay (with the exact same book) and expect to make a profit. You need to be different, you need to stand out. That’s where your creativity and marketing strategy can make you successful.
Chowmunga approves of this home-based business idea with a word of caution. There are lots of scams out there in regards to PLR books. There are also a lot of crummy products. So, be very careful for what you sign up for as this is fertile ground for scam artists (see previous article: 10 Signs of a Home-based Business Scam). However, if you can find (or better yet create) quality products, this is potentially a legitimate home-based business.

I have always believed that “one man’s junk is another man’s treasure”. This is certainly true for used golf balls.
Of course, all of those golf balls sitting at the bottom of a pond weren’t “intentially” put there. (Athough, if you saw my swing, you might think its a miracle they don’t ALL end up in water). No one wants to spent $20 on 5 golf balls and then see them all swimming with the fishes a few hours later.
But unfortunately for golfers, and luckily for the golf ball treasure hunter, this happens MILLIONS of times every year! There is “white gold” sitting at the bottom of your local golf course just waiting to mined by you.

When venturing into any new business idea, it is important to ask: Is there a market for this business?
And when it comes to tropical fish, the answer is most certainly yes! Its difficult to say how large the market is; however, when one takes a look at the volume of fish sales that are taking place on eBay and all across the internet, its easy to see that there is certainly a healthy market.
What is also great about freshwater tropical fish sales, is that no one company dominates the market. There are lots of small players, which means it would be easy for someone brand new to make a sale. Longevity in the market doesn’t really matter to the customer, its all about the fish!

Well, look no further than used clothing! Think that there is no market for used clothing? Well, think again. People are buying are selling thousands of used pairs of pants, shoes, shirts, and others articles of clothing everday on eBay. In particular, designer clothes sell very well, even in their used condition.
For example, a USED pair of men’s Dior Homme jeans can sell for over $200 on eBay. In fact, on occassion other jeans will sell for over $400. What’s great, is that both the buyer and the seller are fully aware that these jeans (or whatever article of clothing) has been previously owned and worn.
